The liquidation team received over 8,500 Proofs of Claim. We are working through each Proof of Claim to determine whether the Proof may be accepted. Many of the provider Proofs of Claim request 100% of billed charges when the provider is entitled to less than that. There are also Proofs of Claim that lack sufficient information to reach a conclusion on the amount owed. We are reaching out to members and providers who have filed Proofs which require additional information to be resolved. When possible, we are sending a Settlement Proof of Claim in an attempt to expedite the process for everyone involved. This review and communication process takes time. It is our goal to get through the Proofs of Claim as quickly and efficiently as possible, so we can make a distribution. Please be patient and respond when we reach out to you. No distributions will be made to members and providers until all of the member and provider Proofs of Claim are fully and finally resolved.
After all Proofs of Claims have been settled or finally adjudicated, the Liquidator will file a plan of distribution with the Court and distributions will be made in accordance with the approval of the Court and subject to the availability of assets. We are working diligently to work through the Proofs of Claim as quickly as we can.
